Job summary

Sam's Club in Meridian, MS is seeking a Meat Department Lead to supervise hourly associates, drive sales in the department, and model expertise in Meat to meet member expectations.

You will collaborate with other team leaders to ensure the club delivers on member needs, maintain in-depth product knowledge, and use digital tools to forecast, plan, and optimize the shopping experience for members.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in a meat production department or 6 months experience supervising a team.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Meat processing experience preferred; Food Handler Certification recommended.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the meat department team to deliver the business plan.
• Maintain department knowledge on product specs, quality, and safety compliance.
• Use digital tools to forecast, plan, and drive sales.
