Job summary

Walmart Sam's Club in Valdosta, GA is seeking a Meat Department Lead to supervise a team and drive sales while delivering high-quality meat offerings to members. You will model expertise in meat, work with other leaders, and ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and inventory standards.

You will leverage digital tools to forecast demand, plan staffing, and maintain optimal product availability, while fostering a culture of excellence and member service.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in a meat production department or 6 months supervising a team.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• ServSafe Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Leader: supervise the meat department team to deliver on the business plan and meet member expectations.
• Be an Expert: maintain knowledge of meat products, quality, stock, and compliance with standards.
• Be a Techie / Owner: use digital tools for forecasting, planning, production, and inventory control.
