Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Meat Department Lead in Bartlett, TN to drive sales and supervise hourly associates in the meat department. You will model meat expertise and collaborate with other team leaders to meet member expectations, ensure quality standards, and maintain a safe, organized department.

You will leverage handheld technology and digital tools to forecast, plan, and optimize production, inventory, and pricing while training staff and upholding company policies and ethics.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in a meat production department or 6 months experience supervising a team.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the meat department team to execute the business plan and meet member expectations.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and safe work area in the meat department and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Leverage digital tools to forecast, plan, and drive sales and to monitor production and quality.
• Train and develop team members, onboard new talent, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other team leaders to deliver exceptional member experiences and uphold Walmart policies.
