Qualifications

• English reading, writing, speaking proficiency required.
• Basic math skills required.
• Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation.
• Ability to lift 35–90 lbs and work in cold environments.
• Ability to operate meat department equipment.
• Must be 18 years or older to operate certain equipment.

Responsibilities

• Cut and trim meat according to company specifications.
• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment.
• Assist customers in selecting meat items and provide courteous service.
• Rotate and stock meat cases and ensure proper product placement.
• Follow department procedures for receiving, pricing, restocking and QA standards.
• Adhere to safety, sanitation and company policies.
