Zupan Enterprises Oregon is seeking a Meat Department Team Member for the closing shift. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service while preparing, merchandising and selling premium meat and poultry, while maintaining strict food safety standards and product freshness.

You will work with the team to meet department goals, assist customers with cooking techniques, explain product benefits, and ensure accurate pricing and presentation. Lifting and standing duties apply.

• Ability to manage multiple assignments at once.
• Ability to learn basic knowledge of all products carried in department.
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures.

• Able to answer customer questions clearly.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays.

Responsabilités

• Provide outstanding customer service and address customer questions.
• Follow food safety procedures.
• Operate department equipment safely (meat band saw, grinder, tumbler).
• Stock and rotate meat/poultry to maintain freshness and presentation.
• Receive deliveries and maintain back stock and coolers.
• Explain cooking techniques and product benefits to customers.
• Maintain pricing, signage, and product placement.
• Package and wrap products for retail sale.
• Document transfers, waste and spoilage as required.
