Schnucks is seeking a reliable Meat Clerk to join our store team in Missouri. This closing-shift role focuses on friendly customer service, accurate price tagging, and proper preparation of meat products for the service case.

Responsibilities include stocking and rotating products, following safety and sanitation guidelines, and providing customers with cooking instructions. You will also read shelf tags, maintain cold storage temperatures, and help ensure a clean, organized meat department.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering friendly service in a retail environment.
• Knowledge of food safety guidelines and handling procedures.
• Ability to stock, label, price and rotate meat products.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers.
• Wrap, label and price product.
• Prepare product for the service meat case.
• Stock, straighten and rotate product in meat cases and coolers.
• Read and understand shelf tags.
• Follow company safety guidelines when using equipment.
• Provide customers with proper cooking instructions.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and meat cases.
• Close out by pulling product for storage.
• Other duties as assigned by store management.
