Kroger is hiring for a store associate in the Meat department to serve customers, stock and clean, and ensure product quality. You will greet customers, operate the cash register, and maintain clean displays while following company standards and health regulations.

The role requires reliable, customer-focused individuals who work well in a fast-paced environment and can handle weekend/holiday schedules as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in grocery retail or food service is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage customers.
• Ability to read shelf tags, labels, and training materials.
• Capable of multi-tasking and maintaining professional conduct.
• Demonstrates personal initiative and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Wait on customers promptly and greet them cheerfully.
• Unload, store, and display merchandise per standards.
• Monitor product quality and ensure freshness and safety.
• Operate cash register following company procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized sales areas and backrooms.
• Wash and sanitize cookware and utensils per policies.
• Follow safety, health, and employment regulations.
• Provide support to customers including with minors or seniors when needed.
