ShopRite of Hillside is hiring a Meat Clean-Up Clerk to perform maintenance and sanitation duties in the Meat Department. The role requires lifting up to 90 lbs, standing for long periods, and working in refrigerated environments to keep work areas clean and safe.

Responsibilities include cleaning surfaces, stocking and organizing, and assisting with department operations while adhering to health and safety standards. The position is based at ShopRite of Hillside in Hillside, NJ.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, analyze and understand English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Stand/walk for entire shift and lift up to 90 lbs.
• Work in varying temperatures and follow health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, sanitary Meat Department work areas and fixtures.
• Clean and sanitize surfaces, utensils, and equipment.
• Assemble/disassemble department equipment; operate in refrigerated areas.
• Unload trucks and transport merchandise weighing up to 90 lbs.
• Follow all safety, QA, and company policies; comply with time and attendance rules.
