Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Cambridge is seeking a Meat Team Associate to support counter service, stocking, and sanitation duties. You will provide courteous, friendly, and efficient service while upholding health and safety standards and store SOPs.

You will assist with merchandising, customer interactions, and ongoing training as part of a dynamic team environment. Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Stand/walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour day.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Exposure to cold temperatures.
• Work with knives and other cutting equipment.
• Maintain clean and sanitary work areas.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fresh and appealing display by stocking cases and shelves and rotating products.
• Assist with sampling program; keep sample areas clean and appealing.
• Clean cases, glass, signs, uprights, coolers, smokers, floors and drains as required.
• Provide courteous, friendly customer service and address customer needs promptly.
• Maximize sales by proper prep, storage, rotation and merchandising of products.
• Follow health, sanitation, and safety procedures and SOPs.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties; verify signs and pricing.
