Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Superior, CO seeks a Team Member for the Meat Department to support counter service, stocking, and sanitation. You’ll help maintain fresh displays, assist with sampling, and provide courteous, friendly service to customers and team members while following SOPs.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean cases, assisting with inventory, and upholding health, safety, and quality standards. Flexible schedule, strong work ethic, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Ensures a fresh and appealing display by checking quality, keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Assists with sampling program, keeping sample areas full, clean and appealing.
• Cleans cases, glass, signs, uprights, coolers, smokers, floors, and drains as required.
• Arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner.
• Maximizes sales potential through prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
• Follows procedures including health, sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary environment; maintains equipment to safety standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures accuracy of signs and pricing.
• Reports safety hazards and violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store leadership.
