Job summary

Super One Foods is hiring an Apprentice Journey Meat Person for the meat department. You will learn all aspects of retail meat cutting, including chicken, beef, pork and fish, while delivering excellent customer service.

Shifts are mornings and afternoons; 18+ required. Benefits include health insurance, pension, 401(k), and paid time off. This is a part-time/full-time retail role in a meat department.

Qualifications

• Desire and ability to learn all aspects of retail meat cutting including chicken, beef, pork and fish.

Responsibilities

• Cut meat to store standards, present, wrap, display and sell meat products.
• Work in refrigerated spaces and on the retail grocery selling floor.
• Learn to operate meat saw, slicer, grinder and cutting with knives.
• Lift up to 30 lbs regularly and 80 lbs occasionally.
