Responsibilities

• Cut and wrap meat.
• Weigh and label cut meat.
• Complete special orders upon request.
• Turn in cut meat weight sheet for inventory updates.
• Maintain meat cutting procedures per regulations.
• Maintain freezer inventory.
• Coordinate with Grocery Office Supervisor and Grocery Warehouse Supervisor to order bulk meat and supplies.
• Unload bulk meat deliveries and verify item description and weight against the invoice.
• Assist in grocery warehouse as needed.
• Maintain an organized, clean, sanitary and safe meat cutting area.
• Wash and sanitize the meat room and equipment daily.
• Maintain temperature and ground meat logs.
