Job summary

Responsibilities include working under limited supervision, maintaining safety and cleanliness, interpreting instructions, and operating hand and power tools while following standard procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail meat department operations such as traying, wrapping and weighing meat for sale to customers.
• Ability to cut, trim and bone meat to proper cuts and sizes.
• Experience using hand tools and powered meat cutting equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ability to perform the Work of the Position with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate dexterity and safety in handling meat and equipment.
• Maintain neat, clean and orderly work practices.
• Able to interpret instructions, specifications, etc. (other than blueprints).
• Handle materials used in meat cutting operations.
• Demonstrate technical practices related to meat processing.
• Use and maintain hand and power tools.
