ShopRite of Manahawkin in New Jersey is seeking a Meat Cutter Clerk to deliver great customer experiences in the Meat Department. The role requires cutting and preparing meat per company standards, ensuring quality, and assisting customers with selections.

The position offers a range of benefits and a work environment focused on safety, efficiency, and team collaboration. Salary ranges from $25.85 to $31.52 per hour, with required shifts that may exceed eight hours and physical duties including

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Strong knowledge of safe food handling and safe work habits.
• Able to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift up to 35 lbs and occasionally 80–90 lbs.
• Work in varying temperatures.
• Operate meat department equipment (band saws, grinders, wrapping machines, power jacks, knives).
• Able to stand/walk for full shifts and interact with customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized, and safe work environment.
• Sanitize surfaces, utensils, and equipment per QA standards.
• Rotates products in meat cases and handles stock accordingly.
• Follow procedures for receiving, dating, storing, pricing, and restocking products.
• Promote current charitable promotions to customers.
• Perform duties in accordance with safety, quality, and company policies.
