Job summary

Safeway is seeking a Meat Cutter to prepare fresh meat, trim beef and poultry, and label products for display. You will work with various cuts and ensure quality, portioning accurately and presenting appealing displays for customers.

In addition, you will operate knives, grinders, and slicers, maintain sanitation, stock displays, and assist customers with special cut requests while upholding safety and company standards.

Qualifications

• Experience trimming, cutting, and preparing meat products.
• Knowledge of meat cuts and preparation techniques.
• Ability to operate power equipment like saws, grinders, and slicers safely.
