You will operate knives, grinders, and slicers, keep the department clean, follow safety procedures, and help maintain well-stocked, attractive displays; prior meat-cutting experience preferred; flexible availability including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Customer interaction skills for assisting customers and fulfilling special cut requests.
• Meat cutting experience with trimming, cutting, and preparing meat products.
• Experience with knives, grinders, saws, and wrapping equipment following safety guidelines.
• Attention to detail in portioning, packaging, labeling, and maintaining product quality.
• Knowledge of meat cuts, preparation methods, and cooking recommendations.
• Sanitation practices and safe food handling procedures.
• Ability to stay organized and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Awareness of merchandising to maintain well-stocked displays.
• Understanding of shop policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, work in cold environments, and lift up to 75 lbs.
