Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Meat Cutter in Worcester, MA to prepare beef, poultry, and other items for display while maintaining high quality and accurate labeling. You will interact with customers, handle special cut requests, and ensure cleanliness and safety across the department.

You will use knives, grinders, and saws, stay organized under daily pressure, and help maintain appealing, well-stocked displays with a strong focus on safety and sanitation.

Qualifications

• Must be able to interact with customers and fulfill special cut requests
• Experience trimming, cutting, and preparing meat products
• Operate power equipment safely (saws, grinders, slicers) after training
• Knowledge of meat cuts and preparation techniques
• Able to work in refrigerated environments and maintain sanitation
• Availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Prepare beef, poultry, and other items for display with correct trimming and labeling
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow safety procedures
• Assist customers and fulfill special cut requests
• Monitor freshness and quality of products throughout the shift
