Job summary

Chedraui USA is seeking a Meat Cutter 3 at Store 005 – Mykawa in Houston. Under direct supervision, you will break, cut and prepare meat products to company standards and customer orders, and assist with special orders.

You will work with Meat Clerks and the Meat Manager to determine items to cut, and perform very heavy lifting. A Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling and serving food.

Qualifications

• Experience in meat cutting or food preparation.
• Ability to perform very heavy lifting and stand for long periods.
• Food Handler Card or equivalent certification required.

Responsibilities

• Break, cut and prepare meat products to company standards.
• Prepare meat for display or per customer orders.
• Assist with special orders and coordinate with staff to determine items to cut.
• Work with Meat Clerks and Meat Manager; maintain safe handling practices.
