Job summary

Chedraui USA in Houston, TX is seeking a Meat Cutter 3 for Store 051 - Houston Cullen. Under direct supervision, you will break, cut, and prepare meat products, using hand tools and power equipment, in quantities and trims that meet company standards and customer orders.

You will lift heavy items, stand for prolonged periods, and assist with special orders. A Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling and serving food;

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform very heavy lifting.
• Experience in breaking, cutting, and preparing meat products per company standards.
• Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Break, cut, and prepare meat products using hand tools and power equipment.
• Prepare meat products for display or as ordered by customers.
• Work with customers to take special orders.
• Work with Meat Clerks and Meat Manager to determine which items need to be cut.
• Handle heavy lifting and prolonged standing.
