Job summary

Albertsons Companies is hiring a Meat Cutter to prepare beef, poultry and other meat products for display while delivering excellent customer service. You will trim, package, label, and respond to special cut requests with precision, maintaining clean, refrigerated work areas and adhering to safety standards.

You will also help keep the department organized and well-stocked, operate knives, grinders, and saws, and follow company policies and regulatory guidelines to ensure quality and efficiency

Qualifications

• Clear communication when assisting customers and fulfilling special cut requests
• Experience trimming, cutting, and preparing meat products using standard techniques
• Handling knives, grinders, saws, and wrapping equipment following safety guidelines
• Accuracy in portioning, packaging, labeling, and maintaining product quality
• Familiarity with meat cuts, preparation methods, and cooking recommendations
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and safe food handling practices
• Managing workflow while maintaining clean and orderly work areas
• Maintaining well-stocked and visually consistent meat displays
• Following company policies, safety requirements, and regulatory guidelines
• Comfort with standing for extended periods, working in cold environments, and lifting up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities
