Fresco y Mas in Florida is seeking a meat cutter to join our retail grocery team. You will cut meat to specifications, maintain cleanliness, and ensure freshness while delivering friendly service. Under supervision, you will greet customers, package products, and help manage inventory, weights, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Ability to understand and follow English instructions.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Successful pre-employment drug testing and background check.

Responsibilities

• Greet, assist and thank customers in a prompt, courteous and friendly manner.
• Prepare and package meat products to specifications; process fresh meats, smoked meats, seafood, and other items to production standards.
• Receive and breakdown meat deliveries.
• Use cutting lists to cut and trim products per company standards.
• Wrap, weigh and price products as needed.
• Cube, slice and grind meat as needed.
• Observe weights, measures, sanitation, logs and labeling laws.
• Operate power equipment safely and maintain a clean work area.
• Stock and rotate department products to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
• Notify management of theft, shoplifting, markdowns or safety hazards.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
