Fresco y Mas in Miami is seeking a Meat Cutter to join our retail team. You will cut meat to specifications, wrap and label products, and assist customers with selections, ensuring quality and freshness on every item.

Responsibilities include receiving deliveries, trimming meats, maintaining safety standards and clean work area, and providing friendly service. Prior experience preferred; training is provided for compliance and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Ability to understand and follow English instructions.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check.

Responsibilities

• Greet, assist and thank customers in a prompt, courteous and friendly manner.
• Prepare and package food products and process orders to specifications.
• Receive and breakdown meat deliveries.
• Cut and trim products according to company standards.
• Wrap, weigh and price product as needed.
• Cube, slice and grind meat as needed.
• Observe weights, measures, sanitation, and labeling laws.
• Observe safety standards when operating power equipment.
• Offer product suggestions when appropriate.
• Stock and rotate department products to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
• Operate department equipment and keep area clean and safe.
• Report thefts, shoplifting, markdowns or policy violations.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
