Job summary

Sam's Club is seeking a Senior Meat Cutter in Rock Hill, SC to drive sales and deliver high-quality meat products to members. You will work with a team to educate associates, maintain inventory, and ensure compliance with safety standards while using cutting equipment to prepare various meat products.

The role involves operating tools, leveraging digital aids, and supporting profitable operations in a high-volume meat department.

Qualifications

• 6 months’ experience working in a fresh production department.
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross functional teams and educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources; communicate effectively and develop interpersonal skills for customer service.
• Maintain in-stock levels and monitor shrinkage; track goods and ensure quality and safety standards.
• Operate meat cutting equipment and process meat according to specifications including cutting, slicing, grinding, and wrapping.
• Utilize handheld technology to drive sales and improve the shopping experience while adapting to new tools.
• Support profitability and operational excellence, ensure proper packaging, labeling and storage of meat products.
