Job summary

Raley's in Scottsdale seeks a reliable Meat Cutter to manage daily meat and seafood department tasks while delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities include cutting, weighing, wrapping, labeling, and ensuring product freshness and safety.

You will stock, merchandise, and assist in deli meat preparation, maintain clean work areas, and support pricing and signage accuracy. This role is safety-sensitive and requires handling in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• 21+ for positions serving alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Order, cut, grind, slice, weigh, wrap and label per quality, freshness and safety standards.
• Control shrink and inventory through proper handling and trimming.
• Sell products by providing customers with helpful information.
• Use department tools and equipment safely (knives, saws, wrapping machine, tenderizer, patty maker, grinder).
• Maintain clean, neat, and stocked meat counter and service cases.
• Prepare ready-to-go meat products and deli meats/cheeses for display and sale.
• Take customer orders and ensure timely completion to customer satisfaction.
• Safety sensitive position; perform other related duties as assigned.
