Job summary

Raley's in Scottsdale seeks a Meat Cutter to support Meat & Seafood operations, stock, prepare and merchandise with a focus on food safety and customer service. You will cut, weigh, wrap, label, and price products, assist customers, and keep the meat counter clean and organized in a fast-paced retail environment.

Experience in a meat department is helpful; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods. Competitive pay, benefits, and store discounts are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age (21 for any position that serves alcohol)
• Experience in meat department preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods

Responsibilities

• Order, cut, grind, slice, weigh, wrap and label products per quality, quantity, freshness and safety standards
• Control product shrink and inventory expenses through proper handling and wrapping techniques
• Sell products by providing customers with helpful product information
• Use meat department tools and equipment safely and correctly
• Take customer orders and ensure timely completion
• Keep a clean, neat, and well-stocked meat counter and service cases
