Kj’s Market, a family-owned grocer, invites you to join our meat department in a fast-paced environment. You will provide polite, friendly service to guests and prepare meat products according to Floco Foods standards.

Responsibilities include pricing, stocking, rotating meats, handling special requests, maintaining sanitation, and communicating temperature issues to supervision. Previous meat cutting experience is preferred, with skill tests as part of the hiring process.

Qualifikationen

• Friendliness and ability to work well with guests and teammates.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects and work in cold environments.

Aufgaben

• Provides polite, friendly service to guests.
• Prepares product for sale (cutting, weighing, trimming) according to Floco Foods standards.
• Prices, stocks, and rotates frozen and prepared meats and fresh meat case.
• Provides special customer service requests (eg. special cuts, slicing).
• Maintains sanitation standards in the cooler, sales and prep areas.
• Maintains high quality, freshness and properly dated product available for sale.
• Communicate temperature failures to supervisor.
• Announce meat department sale items on the PA system.
• Assist in product receiving and storage.
• All other tasks as assigned by management.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to work in a cold environment.
• Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.
• Previous meat cutting experience.
• Meat cutting skill test qualifications.
