Qualifications

• Willing to work weekends and holidays.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read shelf tags, signs, and product labels.
• Must work with various cleaning solutions, safely use sharp tools, and operate certain equipment.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to tactfully and calmly handle stressful situations and make a positive impression on associates and customers.

Responsibilities

• Cutting, grinding, slicing, preparing, processing, trimming, tenderizing, sealing, packaging, wrapping, labeling, scaling and merchandising of meat products.
• Selling and serving customers with quality foods and friendly service.
• Unloading trucks, sorting orders, and placing items in proper cooler locations.
• Maintaining department temperature logs and ensuring safe storage of meat products.
• Keeping department displays, backrooms, and coolers clean and organized.
• Providing support and assistance through direct interaction with customers.
