Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a Meat Department Associate to assist in daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and grind. You will follow the production schedule to meet requirements for advertised fresh meat cuts and help manage orders and deliveries.

The role requires familiarity with weights and measures, safety procedures, and experience with packaging. Forklift license and CAO software experience are preferred, with a focus on inventory control and customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience with weights and measures specific to meat processing.
• Ability to understand and follow specific safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Current forklift/hilo license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the writing of fresh meat orders.
• Organizing and checking in fresh meat deliveries.
• Maintaining a positive working relationship with customers, team members and leadership.
