Job summary

Tony's Fresh Markets in Illinois is seeking a Meat Cutter to perform various cuts for meat items, using a knife and/or saw machine. You will work in a fast-paced retail environment and be part of a team dedicated to quality and service.

Responsibilities include stocking fresh and frozen merchandise, pricing, ensuring product quality and rotation, receiving shipments, and maintaining a safe, clean workspace while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic kitchen skills; familiar with food preparation.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Stock merchandise in fresh and frozen cases.
• Receive incoming shipments per procedures.
• Price products.
• Ensure product quality, protection, and rotation in coolers.
• Rewrap meat packages as needed; constant meat cutting with knife/saw.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment per safety and sanitation requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service.
