Job summary

Responsibilities include customer assistance, proper sanitation, receiving deliveries, and adhering to department procedures. We require 6-12 months related experience and the ability to pass a cutting test.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service at all times.
• Smile, make eye contact, and thank customers after fulfilling requests.
• Maintain a neat, clean and organized workstation per 5S standards.
• Cut and prepare meat using knives, saws, cubers and grinders.
• Wrap, weigh and label meat merchandise properly.
• Adhere to corporate meat department procedures and standards (case layout and trim specifications).
• Adhere to sanitation and temperature guidelines per corporate and state standards.
• Receive all meat products delivered at store location (DSD and warehouse deliveries).
• Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
