ShopRite of Somers Point is seeking a Meat Cutter Clerk to cut and trim meat, maintain a clean department, and assist customers in selecting products. You will work in refrigerated cutting rooms, follow company safety rules, and help keep meat cases stocked and organized.

Responsibilities include cutting meat per specifications, rotating stock, and cooperating with team members. The role requires physical stamina, good English, basic math, and reliable attendance in a fast-paced retail

Qualifikationen

• Must read, write, speak English.
• Basic math skills required.
• Strong knowledge of safe food handling and safe work habits.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs. regularly and up to 80-90 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and in a refrigerated environment.
• Operate Meat Department equipment such as band saws, grinders, wrapping machines, power jacks, knives and cutters.
• Must be 18 years or older to operate certain equipment.

• Cut and trim meat according to Company specifications.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work environment.
• Rotate products in meat cases and restock as needed.
• Assist customers with selecting meat items and provide friendly service.
• Follow Department procedures for receiving, dating, storing, and pricing.
