Job summary

Reid’s Fine Foods in North Carolina is seeking a Meat Cutter to help manage department inventory, pricing integrity, merchandising, and other operations to company standards. You will plan, order, prepare cutting lists, and process meat according to Reid’s Fine Foods recipes to maximize sales and guest satisfaction, while training new staff and ensuring proper cutting methods and product rotation.

The role requires lifting 25 lbs+, standing all shift, and at least one year of meat cutting

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of meat cutting experience.
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs or more.
• Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours per shift.
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation; Serve Safe is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with Reid’s Fine Foods standards for portion sizes, cooking methods, quality, and procedures.
• Assist in managing the Meat/Seafood Department functions, labor costs, and shrink.
• Train and develop Meat Cutters and Meat/Seafood Clerks.
• Cut and prepare meat/seafood per guest requests while maintaining quality and display standards.
• Ensure proper rotation, receiving, stocking, and merchandising of products.
