LS Solutions is seeking a Meat Cutter to prepare and cut various meats according to company standards. You will handle product preparation, labeling, stocking, and customer-focused service in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will need basic math and reading skills, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the department.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of retail or related experience preferred, with prior meat cutting experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, interpret documents, and perform basic math.
• Detail-oriented with good physical stamina; able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

• Cut, weigh, and portion steaks, chops, and other meat products for retail sale.
• Produce value-added products such as sausage and ground meats following recipes.
• Trim, bone, and prepare carcass sections for cooking cuts.

Role Overview:

A Meat Cutter responsible for preparing and cutting various types of meats according to company standards. Ensures proper product handling, maintains a clean and organized department, and supports sales through suggestive selling techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Cut, weigh, and portion steaks, chops, and other meat products for retail sale.
• Produce value-added products such as sausage and ground meats following established recipes.
• Trim, bone, and prepare carcass sections for cooking cuts.
• Price, wrap, and label meat products accurately.
• Stock, merchandise, and rotate shelves and displays.
• Assist in receiving, unloading, and stocking merchandise.
• Maintain product knowledge, cleanliness, safety, and food safety standards.
• Practice suggestive selling and provide excellent customer service.
• Perform other assigned tasks across departments as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

Physical & Work Environment:
