Job summary

Meijer is seeking a team member in Kentucky to assist with daily meat preparation and ensure fresh meat cuts meet the planned schedule. You will participate in cutting beef, pork and ground while adhering to safety standards and quality controls.

The role offers weekly pay and opportunities for advancement through Meijer's development programs, with scheduling flexibility to support personal commitments.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measures in meat processing.
• Ability to understand and follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience with inventory control and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering software.

Responsibilities

The individual selected for this position will be responsible for assisting in the daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and grind. The individual will also follow the production schedule to meet requirements for advertised fresh meat cuts.

What You Bring with You (Qualifications):

• Familiarity with weights and measure processes specific to meat processing
• Ability to understand and follow specific safety and sanitation procedures
• Experience in product presentation and packaging
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications
• Experience with inventory control procedures
