HOUCHENS FOOD GROUP, INC. is seeking a Meat Cutter to join our team. This position can be full-time or part-time, with a flexible work schedule. The role reports to the Meat Manager and involves responsibilities such as preparing, storing, cutting, cleaning, and serving meat.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor food distribution and ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Clean and sterilize dishes, utensils, equipment, and facilities.
• Maintain stock levels in coolers, cases, and displays.
• Provide friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service.
• Assist in inventory management, including recording purchases and controlling shrink.
• Ensure proper storage, rotation, and temperature of meat products.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain cleanliness of the meat department.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• No prior experience necessary.
• Basic computer skills.

Physical Demands

• Frequent standing, handling, reaching, and bending.
