Job summary

Queen Enterprises is seeking a Meat Cutter to prepare all varieties and cuts of meat and operate department tools safely. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean, safe environment to encourage repeat visits.

The Meat Cutter should know meat varieties and cuts and assist customers in selecting the best options. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Prior work experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Read cutting lists.
• Maintain meat cases.
• Cuts all primal to specific techniques.
• Grinds meats.
• Fills cases/stock meat.
• Rotates product properly.
• Assists Meat Manager with inventory.
• Operates wrapping scale and other machinery in Meat Department.
• Receives and processes meat shipment correctly and assists customers with request and information.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment, cases work area and sales floor.
• Works with company programs, policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
