Job summary

Food City is seeking motivated individuals for a Meat Department internship. Responsibilities include cutting and merchandising fresh meat, assisting with ordering, receiving and displaying products, grinding and slicing meat, and maintaining clean display cases.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Meat cutting experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to meet standard physical, mental, and visual demands.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact with various levels of individuals on a daily basis.
• Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies.
