Job summary

Shamrock Foods Company in Colorado is seeking a Meat Cutter/Processor responsible for cutting, trimming, boning, tying, and grinding meats to prepare portions and cooking cuts. Shift: Sunday to Thursday (8:30 am to Finish).

You will operate band saws and industrial slicers, maintain accurate records of meat received and issued, and contribute to safe, efficient production. This full-time role requires 2–3 years related experience and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to use cutting utensils and operate an electric pallet jack or forklift.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Cutting and trimming boneless, bone-in, and cutting machine to achieve 95% goal for time and yield.
• Operate band saw, marelec portioning machine, industrial slicer and dicer, and spray cabinet.
• Cut and weigh steaks and chops for individual servings.
• Shape and tie roasts.
• Record quantities of meat received and issued to cutters.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

Starting compensation (DOE):

$26-$28 per hour

Shift details:

Sunday to Thursday (8:30 am to Finish)

This position is responsible for cutting, trimming, boning, tying, and grinding meats to portion and prepare meat in cooking form.

• Cutting and trimming boneless, bone in and cutting machine at 95% goal to time and yield product to reduce to cooking cuts such as roasts, steaks, chops, stew cubes, and grinding meat
• Use of band saw, marelec portioning machine, industrial meat slicer and dicer and ross intervention spray cabinet
• Cutting and weighing steaks and chops for individual servings
• Shaping and tying roasts
• Recording quantity of meat received and issued to cutters
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performing other duties as assigned to meet business needs

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Two-three years related experience and/or training
• Must have the ability of using cutting utensils and running an electric pallet jack or forklift.
• Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which are subject to evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical Demands:

• Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds
• Frequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds
• Occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
