Job summary

Kroger is seeking candidates for a Meat Dept Team Member in Ohio. You will clean, stock, monitor temperatures, and rotate merchandise while assisting customers with quality products.

You will maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment in line with Kroger's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety. Responsibilities include helping customers, operating basics of the meat case, signage, and occasional cash register work as needed in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Able to read shelf tags, signs, product labels, training materials.

Responsibilities

• General clean-up and stock work in Meat department and provide customer service.
• Wait on customers and greet them, offering high quality food and assistance.
• Communicate effectively with customers and associates; maintain a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Unload and store merchandise and display foods per standards, recipes, and policies.
• Monitor product temperature and ensure freshness and safety; keep areas tidy and organized.
