Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Savannah, GA is seeking a friendly Meat Department Team Member to help with counter service, stocking, and sanitation while delivering courteous, efficient service to customers. You will gain product knowledge across department items, assist with merchandising and sampling, and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in line with company standards.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to work in a wet and cold environment.
• Able to use knives and other cutting equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fresh, appealing display by stocking cases and rotating products.
• Maintain back stock and assist sampling program.
• Clean cases, glass, signs, uprights, coolers, floors and drains.
• Provide excellent customer service and address customer needs.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties and verify pricing.
• Report safety hazards promptly.
• Follow procedures including health and sanitation standards.
