Job summary

Whole Foods Market Seattle Meat Department is seeking a team member to support counter service, stocking, and sanitation. You will help maintain fresh displays, assist customers, and ensure products meet quality standards while following health and safety regulations.

You will work with the meat team to provide friendly, efficient service, participate in training, and perform opening, closing, and shift duties.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a fresh and appealing display by checking quality, stocking, rotating, and removing out-of-date products.
• Maintain back stock in good order.
• Assist with sampling program; keep sample areas full and clean.
• Clean cases, glass, signs, uprights, coolers, floors, and drains as required.
• Arrive on time, groomed and ready to work; attend trainings and meetings.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to phones promptly.
• Maximize sales through proper prep, storage, rotation, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follow procedures including health, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary working and shopping environment and equipment.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties; ensure pricing accuracy.
• Report safety hazards and violations immediately.
