Ridley's Food Corporation in Idaho is seeking a team member to help customers with friendly service, maintain product freshness, and support department pricing and merchandising. You will work with other department managers to boost sales and uphold store standards, while ensuring safe, compliant operations.

No experience required; 18 years or older; basic computer skills preferred; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and follow written and verbal instructions.

Qualifications

• Ability to write, speak, hear, and understand spoken word to respond to pages, requests, team members and guests.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals.
• High School diploma or GED; or related job experience and training are preferred.
• No experience required.

• Exhibit and develop maximum customer relations through friendly and courteous behavior.
• Promote a high level of morale within department and store, utilizing friendly but professional methods of honest and open communication.
• Maintain good working relationships with other department managers with the objective of improving sales storewide.
• At all times remember that our success will be dependent upon our ability to work together.
• Comply with all company policies, programs and directives as specified in the Code of Conduct.
• Assists in maintaining proper freshness, code dating, tares, and merchandising of the products in compliance with governmental guidelines and company policies and procedures.
• Capable of recognizing the quality of all service and self-service meats from their appearance and distinguishing between types and cuts of meat.
• Assists in proper department pricing, rotating and merchandising to meet company policies, procedures and objectives.
• Maintains an awareness of competitive activity within the store marketing area.
• Pulls outdated, rewraps or applies new labels as necessary.
• Stays aware of current sale prices and location of products. Answers guest inquiries in a prompt and friendly manner.

EDUCATION:

High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or related job experience and/or training are preferred.
