Job summary

El Super #6 in Santa Ana is hiring a Meat Clerk to join the Store Operations Team. This role supports customers, keeps meat displays clean, rotates products, and collaborates with the Meat Cutter to determine cutting needs. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods, with occasional lifts up to 60 pounds.

Starting pay is $16.90 per hour. The store emphasizes friendly service, community involvement, and a fast-paced grocery environment.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, the Meat Clerk provides friendly, courteous and helpful customer service.
• Cleans shelves and display cases, fills and rotates Meat Wrap displays.
• Works with customers on special orders and with the Meat Cutter on item cutting.
