Job Description
Job Title: Meat Clerk
Department: Meat
FLSA: Non-Exempt
General Function: Provides prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service. Wraps, trims, stocks cases, and receives merchandise in the Meat and/or Seafood Department.

Reporting Relations: Reports to District Store Director, Store Manager, Assistant Managers of Operations, Perishables, Health Wellness Home, Meat Department Manager, Assistant Meat Department Manager, Seafood Department Manager, Assistant Seafood Department Manager, Service Managers.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent, food safety training, and up to 6 months of related experience.
Physical Requirements:
Working Conditions: Cool, damp environment with noise, exposure to cleaning solvents, and electrical hazards. Fast-paced environment.
Equipment Used: Knives, grinders, tenderizer, slicer, pallet jack, tumbler, wrapping system, rotisserie.
Contacts: Daily interaction with customers and vendors/suppliers.
