MEAT/CLERK (Finance)

Minimum Requirements:

  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read shelf tags, signs, labels, and training materials.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work professionally with all organizational levels.
  • Personal initiative and follow-through.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capability to handle cleaning solutions, operate sharp tools safely, and use all equipment carefully.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Dependability and integrity demonstrated through past work.
  • Experience in food preparation.
  • Knowledge of employment, safety, and food handling laws and regulations.
  • Experience in grocery retail and customer service.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Promptly and cheerfully serve customers, greet them, and provide quality food.
  • Maintain professionalism, tact, and courtesy in all interactions.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and staff.
  • Ensure a clean, neat, and friendly environment for customers.
  • Unload, store, prepare, and display foods per standards and recipes.
  • Monitor temperatures and product quality to ensure freshness and safety.
  • Keep sales areas, backrooms, and coolers clean and organized.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of floors, cookware, utensils, and equipment.
  • Adhere to policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Operate cash register as per procedures.
  • Perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
