Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies in Georgia is seeking a Meat department associate to handle general clean-up, stock work, and customer service. You will greet customers, assist with quality food, and maintain cleanliness and safety in the department.

Responsibilities include unpacking merchandise, displays, temperature monitoring, and operating the register. The role requires teamwork, reliability, and a customer‑focused approach in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Keep floors clean, safe, and free from clutter.
• Wash and sanitize cookware and utensils in accordance with company and Health Department policies and procedures.
• Maintain proper signage, product rotation, freshness, quantity, quality and proper space allocation for merchandise.
• Maintain equipment and facilities properly and safely in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as State and Federal laws.
• Operate cash register in accordance with company procedures, as applicable.
• Ability to work cooperatively in high paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner.
• Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Ability to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues.
