Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a team member for the Meat department to handle general clean-up, stock work, and customer service. You will greet customers, assist with food preparation, monitor temperatures, and ensure products are fresh and safe.

The role requires teamwork, reliability on weekends/holidays, and adherence to health and safety policies. You will also help with signage, rotation, and equipment maintenance in a fast-paced retail setting.

• Wait on customers and counter promptly and cheerfully. Greet customers and provide them with good quality food.

• Keep floors clean, safe, and free from clutter.
• Wash and sanitize cookware and utensils in accordance with company and Health Department policies and procedures.
• Maintain proper signage, product rotation, freshness, quantity, quality and proper space allocation for merchandise.
• Maintain equipment and facilities properly and safely in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as State and Federal laws.
• Operate cash register in accordance with company procedures, as applicable.
