Job summary

Tony's Fresh Market is seeking a Meat Clerk to work in a fast-paced retail environment. You will assist customers, stock and wrap meat products, and ensure displays are clean and well-presented.

You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work in a cool/cold environment, and maintain a high level of organization and communication with team members. Store hours are 7am–10pm, seven days a week.

• Can lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling products or using equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers when applicable
• Stock/wrap items quickly and carefully
• Handle raw meat products to wrap, price, and stock displays
• Lift and load products weighing up to 50 lbs
• Sweep, clean, and sanitize work stations as assigned by Meat Staff leader
• Clean display cases and fill supplies when needed
• Other duties as assigned

• Assist customers when applicable
• Must work quickly and carefully while stocking/wrapping items at a reasonable expectancy
• Handle various raw meat products to wrap, price, and stock into display cases
• Lift and load product weighing up to 50lbs
• Sweep, clean up, and sanitize work stations as assigned by Meat Staff leader
• Clean display cases and fill supplies when needed
• Other duties as assigned

The physical demands and work conditions below represent those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Some requirements may be modified to accommodate individuals with disabilities:

• Regularly required to stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store.
• The work environment is typical of a retail store. The noise level ranges from quiet to loud.
• The store level varies from regular temperature to some cooler areas.
• Minimal sitting is required.

Store hours of operation: 7am-10pm 7 days a week

Pay scale $15.00-$20.10
The pay scale above is the hourly wage range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position.
*Manager roles have a bonus target potential paid out quarterly based on company results/metrics.

Within this range, individual pay is determined by location and other factors including,
but not limited to, specific skills, relevant work experience, and relevant education and/or training.
