Job summary

People’s Food Co-op is seeking a part-time team member for the Meat & Cheese department. Duties include preparing, stocking, slicing and packaging deli meat, and assisting customers with product selection. You may also take orders over the phone and provide excellent service.

Shifts run Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 10am to 6pm, with pay at $17 per hour. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, life, disability, a 401(k) with employer match, and a 20% staff discount.

Qualifications

• Deli/Meat department knowledge encouraged but not required.
• Able to communicate effectively with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, stock, slice and package deli meat in Meat & Cheese department.
• Assist customers with product selection and answer calls to take orders.
• Provide top-notch service and support during shifts.
