Job summary

People’s Food Co-op in Wisconsin is seeking a full-time opener for the deli service counter. Shifts run 5:30 am to 1:30 pm, Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday, with a pay rate of $16.00 per hour.

You will efficiently perform counter duties and help customers feel engaged. This fast-paced role requires stocking, preparing sandwiches and beverages, keeping the soup and salad bar ready, and maintaining a clean work area.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs and stand for shift
• Ability to work in a wet and cold environment
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Preparing sandwiches, specialty coffee and tea beverages for customers
• Ensuring soup and salad bar is stocked and clean
• Prepping various products for the next day
• Cleaning duties including dishes, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal
